ABID has played an active part over the years in promoting and educating the Eastern Region of India with new developments in the Building industry both Interior & Exterior and for every sector be it residential, retail, commercial and so on. We get participants from each and every corner of the eastern region coming here and that is why it is one of the biggest such platform for B2B as well as B2C consumers in terms of design. We have all the big interior design agencies and architects coming here from east. This year we had 68 stalls starting from covering all the aspects of interior design ranging from lighting, furnishing, flooring, hardware etc., also more than 50% of the stalls owners are first time participants, thus generating new customer base for us. ”

The Organization regularly holds Exhibitions, Seminars, Skill Development Programmes, Educational tours for its members and also for upcoming professionals of the building industry. ABID over the years has encouraged vocational training in this field by regularly tying up with various institutes of Eastern region imparting such education by inviting students for its various programs and also by providing field training opportunity to these students. The deserving students were also awarded merit certificates by ABID in Consultation with the Institutes.

“Though no buying and selling is allowed in this fair, but it generates awareness leading to enquiries which culminates in business to the tune of several Million of rupees in this region. Interior Decoration and Furnishing though is in the unorganized sector, yet it generates a great deal of employment for both skilled and unskilled manpower.
