Amante plans to open 100 more exclusive stores in next 5 years

Lingerie brand Amante plans to double up its store count by end of the year and plans to have a 100-stores folio by next 5 years.

 Amante, the flagship intimate wear brand from Sri Lanka-based 1.8 million group MAS Brands, plans to open up 15-20 exclusive brand outlets by the end of this year while increasing its store count by around 100 in another 5 years. The brand is looking at all top consumption clusters in the country like Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Pune, Hyderabad etc along with a few tier-II cities like Lucknow, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Indore etc. The brand is currently present through 7 EBOs, 200+ departmental stores, 1200 MBOs and all key e-commerce platforms.


Vivek Mehta, CEO, MAS Brands India told Retail4growth, “Secret purchase trend of lingerie has come a long way to become experiential shopping today. Market has grown perpetually with global standards throwing challenge to us to grow competently. As we go forward, we will not only establish ourselves with more exclusive stores but will also upgrade the experiential shopping environment that we are providing currently.” MAS Brands also retails two more brands in the UK and the US by the names of Ultimo and Phins respectively. MAS also plans to bring these other portfolio brands to India.
