'Anjalee & Arjun Kapoor' launches new store in New Delhi

Designer duo Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor recently launched their new store in New Delhi. The 1,500 sq ft. store located in Defence Colony is aesthetically done with art and installations. The store, named on the designer duo itself, has a wide variety of bridal wear, resort wear and more.

Designer Anjalee Kapoor explained, "The idea was to enable customers to shop in a beautiful ambiance. At the entrance to the store a beautiful wall fountain adds an additional charm. The mannequins gracefully pose against the simplicity of bare concrete walls, as they are elegantly dressed in royal attires.”

About their collection, Arjun opined, "Our design vocabulary achieves a unique alchemy of embellishment and colour. The swish of chiffon, the swirl of silk, the shine of brocade and the chutzpah of lace—the ensembles have all that it takes for a show-stopping collection. Delicate form meets with a sensual and ethereal silhouette giving a scintillating global aesthetics.”

The designer duo feels that their creations are a tribute to art, style, indulgence and all things luxe. "It's a fashion statement for the connoisseur to imbibe.” Presently, they have studios in New Delhi, Mumbai, Hong Kong and Dubai, "We had a brilliant response for our couture from the fashionistas in Dubai that made us think seriously about expanding internationally,” further adds the duo.
