ASUS Laptop to double their overall retail touchpoints

ASUS Laptop plans to double up their retail network by being present though 10000 dealer network, 400 SIS touchpoints and 200 exclusive stores by end of next year. The brand, enjoying 7% market share in this category, also targets 10% by end of 2019.

Taiwanese electronic gadget major ASUS plans to double their overall number of retail touchpoints by adding 100 more exclusive stores, 4000 dealership network and covering all outlets of Reliance Digital and Croma by 2019. ASUS currently has 100 EBOs, 6000 dealership network along with their SIS presence at 40 Croma stores and 21 Reliance Digital outlets across the country.

In an exclusive chat with Retail4Growth, Arnold Su, ROG & PC Head, ASUS, explained, “In the laptop category, 90-95% of our global SKUs is available in India. Along with our regular stores and retail touchpoints, we have some aggressive plans to add on to our Gaming Stores portfolio in India. We currently have 3 Gaming Stores in Bangalore, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar and by 2019, we plan to take this network to 10 stores, exploring other suitable markets. Our overall expansion plan is to double up number in all retail channels. Our SIS growth will ensure our presence in all 100 Croma stores and 300 Reliance Digital stores across the country”

Entering Indian market in 2007, ASUS Laptop already has 7% market share in the country. The brand plans to achieve 10% by end of 2018
