BIBA’s stand-alone store count in Kolkata touches 14

The brand, which has expanded its footprint to 273 stores across 110 cities in the country has announced plans to spread presence in the East.

BIBABIBA, the leading ethnic apparel brand recently announced its plan to expand its footprint in the eastern part of the country by taking the count of standalone stores to 14 in Kolkata.
The brand so far had nine existing stores in the region and with the launch of six new flagship retail stores at Gariahat, Quest Mall, Hatibagan, AC Market-Howrah, Star Mall and City Centre Salt Lake, the store count touches 14 in the region and 273 in the country.

Commenting on the retail growth, Siddharath Bindra, Managing Director, BIBA said in a statement, “To be able to expand a brand’s retail footprint in today’s ever evolving and dynamic socio – economic retail environment is a momentous occasion. BIBA as a brand has grown with its consumers and has kept its consumer’s needs very close to its heart. The brand which started off as a strong North Indian player today is reportedly registering a healthy and steady growth from across the country and has garnered a good market share in the organised ethnic category.
