By Satarupa Chakraborty | March 27, 2018

The new retail identity, soon to be launched for Blackberrys, Urban and Casuel, will see a complete makeover in terms of brand logo, signage, wayfinding and fixtures. The concept has been developed by Bangalore-based design agency 4D.

Menswear brand Blackberrys will soon introduce a fresh retail identity for its parent brand Blackberrys and its two other brands – Urban (denim brand) and Casuel (Khaki brand). The new identity, which is being developed by Bangalore-based design agency Four Dimensions Retail Design, will adopt a primary colour palette of brown and light beige, which was earlier dominated by black. The new design concept will also introduce new brand logo, font, navigation, fixtures etc.

Under this design identity, Blackberrys will do a mix of new store launches as well as revamping of existing stores. The brand also revealed their plan to reach a mark of 100 stores between three brands by end of current fiscal.

Ramesh Kaushik, Vice President – Brand Experience, Blackberrys, told Retail4growth, “The new retail identity is planned for both our parent brand, Blackberrys and denim brand Urban and also for our upcoming brand of khakis. We are launching the first store of our khaki brand this month at Lulu Mall, Kochi, while the new identity will be launched for Urban store at Garuda Mall, Bangalore next month. Following these launches, we will start our exercise to launch new stores and updating existing stores under this new concept.”
