Bosch launches second DIY store in Bangalore

Following the success of the DIY Square at Koramangala, Bangalore, Bosch Power Tools has now launched its second  DIY Store at Sarjapur in the city.
 
With a total area of 4000 square feet, 2350 square feet will be dedicated to workshops and regular DIY classes for adults and children. According to Sangeetha, the store owner, "DIY culture is all set to make deep inroads into the socio economic fabric of the country. The idea of the DIY display area and workshop was a step to ensure women feel comfortably inspired to use and purchase power tools from women and encourage both men and women to undertake an involving and stress releasing hobby. The workshops and training programs will not only address the usage of tools but also enable people to develop life skills.”
 
Vijay Pandey, Vice President of Bosch Power Tools said, "I am thrilled with the new DIY Square in Bangalore. The concept of DIY has picked up considerably in India and the market is growing at a rate of 20%. The store also has a workshop and experience area where one can walk in any day and try a hand at different DIY activities ranging from drilling, carving, engraving, on wood and glass as well as washing your car using the wide range of BOSCH Home, Hobby and Garden Tools..

The new DIY Square is set to give further impetus to the already growing DIY culture in the city. The store also houses Bosch Siemens Home Appliances, Bosch Solar and Bosch Security Systems.
