Canon India on an expansion mode

Canon envisions opening a total of 300 stores by 2018

 With over 200 Canon Image Square (CIS) stores in India, CIS sales closes up to 1/3rd of the total sales for Canon India as informed by them. Canon India forayed into the retail space in 2010. As part of its completion of 20 years in India they are targeting tier 2 and tier 3 markets as part of its robust expansion plans. Canon envisions opening a total of 300 stores by 2018. CIS stores have a comprehensive range of photography and home printing solutions along with a range of Inkjet/Laser printers and cartridges and other photography accessories on offer, the CIS stores consolidates Canon’s position in the imaging industry.


Also, they are organizing a pan India roadshow across 60 cities to strengthen customer connect across the country. Designed from an interactive consumer engagement perspective, providing hands on experience of Canon products to potential customers, the roadshow is all set to be executed in approximately 60 cities, reaching out to end customer in Tier 3 / 4 cities, throughout the year 2017. Canon booth in the roadshow will provide experience zone with Click & Print activity for potential customers with range of cameras and printer on display. The month of March will witness roadshows in cities like Gurgaon, Meerut, Jodhpur, Jamshedpur, Patna and Varanasi.
