Centro unveils its 21st store in Vizag; to open 10 more by next year

Multibrand footwear retailer Centro, has recently opened their 4500 sq ft store in Vizag. This is the brand’s 21^st store in Telengana and Karnataka. This is the brand's second store in Vizag. The new look of the store has been designed by Chennai-based Saran Associates. Speaking on further retail rollout plan, Sridhar Ganesh, Managing Director, Centro, told Retail4growth, “We are planning to open 4 more stores in Hyderabad, 3-4 more in Bangalore and 1 each in Rajamundry, Nellore and Karimnagar. Our target is to open 10 more stores by 2018.” On store design of Centro, Ashateet Saran, Designer, Saran Associates, explained, “We have designed all the stores of Centro. Though we follow simple and generic design principle for this multi brand retailer, we make sure that categories like men, women and kids are segregated properly and we contemporize the design. We also focus on design flexibility for the stores.”
