Mumbai-based lighting manufacturing company Cenzer Industries Ltd has revealed its plan to start a special facility for specialized lighting required for hypermarkets. Being the first lighting firm in India to start a dedicated facility for hypermarkets, Cenzer has already tied up with an Italian company, known as global expert in the field and has already delivered a 4 lac sq ft project at Oman. The upcoming facility in Goa will span across 30,000 sq ft and will be operational by next financial year.

Sharing the news with Retail4growth, Hitesh Jain, Director, Cenzer Industries Ltd, added, “Today, we have no customizations available for hypermarkets in India although the channel is on an expansion spree. If you look at the global scenario, the design has gone far beyond. We also believe that various sections at hypermarkets featuring various product categories like vegetables, breads, dairy etc should use various customized lighting systems. We will also offer various lighting options for entry points to make the difference. With this facility, we will focus on the markets of Middle East as well India. We will soon roll out one of the leading hypermarket chain’s stores.”
