Cenzer to start manufacturing 100% in-house in IoT-enabled range

By Satarupa Chakraborty | July 04, 2018

Cenzer will be developing every component of their IoT-enabled range, the mass production of which will start from September. The company is also tying up with an undisclosed European lighting vendor to support their export plan.

Mumbai-based lighting manufacturer Cenzer Industries has recently developed their IoT-enabled range, every component of which will be manufactured in-house. Recently done with the prototyping, Cenzer will soon start mass-scale production of this lighting range meant for retail environments from September this year.

Explaining more on the same, Hitesh Jain, Director, Cenzer Industries, shared with Retail4Growth, “We will be producing every part of this IoT-enabled range. Though this kind of products are being manufactured by many players, the entire fixtures is often not produced by a single vendor. The issue is that most of the lighting vendors in India have strong mechanical and engineering background, whereas we have the advantage of a strong electronic expertise. We spent heftily in our R&D to develop this product and now we are slated to start mass production. We are also looking at global tie-up and already in dialogue with some European vendors. We have a good export plan with this range through these partners.”
