The two-day event brought exhibitors, retailers and trade visitors from all over India.

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) hosted its 70th National Garment Fair at the Bombay exhibition center, NSE Complex, Goregaon, Mumbai. The two-day event was inaugurated by Chief Mentor of CMAI Rahul Mehta.

The B2B fair hosted a large number of exhibitors representing numerous brands. Rahul Mehta and various CMAI members spoke to a few exhibitors, delving into their displays and the overall ethos of their respective labels sprawled across approximately 7,00,000 sqft.

"We were surprised looking at the turnout this year. For our Jan to Jan shows, the turnout was 20% higher than last year. Kids section has done extremely well. The booking in the fair was good and people seem to be getting a good response.” Rahul Mehta, Chief Mentor of CMAI tells Retail4Growth.

“Today the 70th National Garment fair brings all the business from the country and brands across the board. Over the years, NGF has become the right place for B2B meetings as it gives industry players a chance to come together, interact, network under one roof. All of this ultimately adds to the convenience and profitability of the entire industry. NGF has only become stronger and stronger and this wouldn’t have been possible without consistent support from brands and retailers”, says Rakesh Biyani, President, CMAI

The fair displayed leading brands in men’s wear, women’s wear, kid’s wear and accessories. It also included business networking sessions between the exhibitors, agents, and distributors. CMAI also published the ‘Show Directory’, popularly known as the Fair Guide at the event.
