Cover Story to add 30-40 stores in next 3 years

Future Style Lab discloses their plan to be present through 50-60 EBOs of Cover Story in another 3 years, while their other brand Ancestry will target top 10 cities of India having stores in both mall and high street locations.

The women western apparel brand from Future Style Lab, the subsidiary of Future Group, has disclosed their plan to add 30-40 retail doors, in addition to their existing 20 exclusive brand outlets. The second and the latest brand from the same company, Ancestry, which currently has 2 stores in Delhi and Gurgaon respectively, will close the fiscal with a total number of 10 stores covering top 10 cities of India.

In an exclusive chat with Retail4growth, Manjula Tiwari, CEO, Future Style Lab, shared, “We have launched two brands, Cover Story and Ancestry, in 2 years since our inception. Both the brands are intended to make meaning to today’s modern independent women. For expansion of Cover Story, we always had a mall and metro centric approach and we are already present through 20 retail doors. As we are opening 10-15 stores of Cover Story every year, we plan to be present through 50-60 EBOs in another 3 years. For Ancestry, we are already present in Ambience Mall at Gurgaon and Vasant Kunj, Delhi already and soon we will open stores at palladium mall, Mumbai and Noida’s mall of India. We are targeting top 10 cities of India for Ancestry as of now. Unlike Cover Story, we will open Ancestry stores beyond malls and at high street locations too.”
