Covo to add 8-10 stores this year

Having strong store network in travel retail with presence at all major airports, fashion handbags brand Covo will add 8-10 more stores in their network. Moving forward to set up stores in mall locations, the brand is looking at sizeable growth in their MBO presence as well.
Fashion handbag brand Covo, with 10 EBOs and around 30 MBO presence currently in their network, has disclosed their plan to add 10 more stores along with growing their MBO presence to 50-100 within a year. Covo, present in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, has a strong presence in airports (travel retail) along with large LFS formats like Central and Project Eve.
Talking to Retail4growth, Nityn Bulchandani, Founder, Covo, explained, “Covo was founded around 3 years back and travel retail, which was started about 1.5 years back, was sort of our entry in brick-and-mortar retail. We are present in airports of all major cities, while at some of them, we are present in both international and domestic terminals. Airport retail is giving us phenomenal sales/sqft and it has given us confidence now to grow our store network in malls and other locations as well. We will soon open retail door in Gurgaon along with adding more stores in existing cities as well.”
