Dovetail brings laser cutting & powder coating facilities to its plant

Bangalore-based retail fixtures manufacturing firm Dovetail Furniture Pvt Ltd has brought in the laser cutting facility into their plant recently while the company will soon set up a powder coating unit in their plant. Talking further on the development, RK Nair, General Manager, Dovetail Furniture Pvt Ltd, told Retail4growth, “We have been outsourcing these facilities previously till we realized that these two functions are needed to be brought to our plant in order to adhere to the short delivery timeline that we work with. The new laser cutting machine that we have brought will help us cutting all materials like MS and SS. The powder coating unit, which offers an indispensable process of retail fixtures manufacturing, will take 3-4 months to come about and will involve an investment of about INR 50-60 lakhs.”

With its facility spread over two acres in Bangalore, Dovetail has been delivering to brands like Shoppers Stop, Marks & Spencer, Nike, Puma, Unlimited, The Children’s Place and many more.
