Enfrien to launch modular and IOT-compatible lighting ranges

By Satarupa Chakraborty | June 19, 2018

The Modular range, a standardised series, will identify common components within multiple fixtures along with minimising the stocking need of manufacturers, stockists and users. The IOT-compatible range will help users controlling lighting colour through a single lighting fixture.

Bangalore-based lighting manufacturing company Enfrien Technologies and Solutions will soon introduce two ranges of lighting fixtures – a series of modular range and IOT-compatible systems. The former range, a standardised series, will bring down the number of component in lighting fixtures enabling manufacturers, stockists and clients with lesser stocking requirement, while the latter, a range of budget products, will help users controlling the colour temperature, mode etc with one-touch operation.

In an exclusive chat with Retail4Growth, Vijay H Madhusudan, CEO, Enfrien Technologies and Solutions Pvt Ltd, shared, “Our range of modular lighting will minimise the stock requirement for not only manufacturers but also for stockists and end users. With this range, we are also standardising the lighting range throughout the entire value chain, which is currently a challenge. To simplify this, I would like to explain that each light product today has a good number of below materials/ components. What we are trying to do is, we are identifying the common components and creating products that are interchangeable through various systems. On the other hand, IOT-compatible range is a range of budget products without compromising the quality, of course. This range will help users to set the mood and colour of lighting. The only challenge with LED is that one has to change the entire fixture in order to change the colour of the light. Hence, we are developing a range where lighting colour can be altered within a wide band through a single fixture.”

The ranges will be launched in three months.
