Enrich plans to take its store count to 80 by the end of this fiscal while revamping their existing salons. The salon chain that operated through only CoCo rollout will try out new markets in western India.

CoCo-operated salon chain brand Enrich plans to add about 18 more outlets to its retail network by the end of current fiscal, taking the total store count into 80. Present via 62 outlets across Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune and Baroda, the 21-year-old chain will make debut in other markets in the west like Surat etc.

In an exclusive chat with Retail4Growth, Vikram Bhatt, Founder & Director, Enrich Salons, explained, “Though we are a 21-year old brand, we had only 12 outlets in Mumbai till 2012. We truly believe in deeper expansion than the wider one. That’s why we expand via only CoCo rollout at geographies where we succeed.”

Enrich has also been renovating its 33 existing outlets and will be revamping all its outlets by year end. Designed by DCA Architect and architect Vickey Kakkar, Enrich doesn’t follow identical design for their outlets, while a unified design vocabulary is followed. Taking the example of how the design for world’s largest coffeeshop chain Starbucks works, Bhatt mentioned further, “We are turning our design into more rustic and warm one with generous use of glass and metal. We stay away from regular elements that are prevalent in salon design like PU or Korean white etc.”
