Funskool opens store at Shipra Mall, Ghaziabad

The brand see huge potential in tier 2 markets

Funskool (India) Ltd has launched its fourth store in India, at the Shipra Mall in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The store features popular international toys from Hasbro, LEGO, LeapFrog, Tomy, Ravensburger, Siku, Hornby, etc., along with licensed products from Disney, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon etc. Funskool's own brands like "Giggles, "Handycrafts”, "Play & Learn” etc. are also available at the new store.

Funskool has forayed into Ghaziabad with the objective of showcasing the world's best toys of the highest quality with ample safety standards.  It is the vision of Funskool to incorporate an educational aspect in their toys so that children have an opportunity to have fun while they learn. The company is scheduled to open many such stores across India.

The Funskool store presents a wide collection of board games, action figures, puzzles and toys for children and adults.  The colourful store also has a dedicated LEGO play table for the kids to engage themselves in when they visit the store. To celebrate the launch, a LEGO building event was organised to involve the kids at the Mall. A 6 feet LEGO Policeman was built by the children using 50,000 LEGO bricks.

Speaking on the occasion, John Baby, CEO of Funskool (India) Limited said, "We find potential in tier 2 cities, we want the children in this region to have access to toys and games of good quality. Our previous launches in Indore, Kochi and Coimbatore were a great success.
