Hamleys opens second store in Kolkata

Multi-brand toys retailer Hamleys has recently opened its second store at South City Mall in Kolkata, four years after the launch of its first store at Quest Mall in Kolkata.

The new store promises to take in store experience a notch higher and set a benchmark for the upcoming stores, according to the company statement.

The brand organised a ‘meet and greet’ with five popular characters in the mall for the launch event, which included Transformers Bumblebee, My Little Pony, Playdoh, Hamlet and Hattie Bear. The event was reportedly attended by 3000+ children in the mall atrium.

The toy retailer currently has 87 stores across 30 cities in the country.
