Kalyan Jewellers to launch two stores in Bengaluru today

Kalyan Jewellers, one of India's leading jewellery brands today announced the launch of two more stores in Bengaluru, part of the of the company's Rs. 800 crore domestic expansion plan in the South. The two new stores in Bengaluru are located at Koramangala and Jayanagar. Leading south-based film stars Shivrajkumar and Prabhu will be inaugurating both these stores. The company also operates over 15 service centres in Bengaluru under the'My Kalyan' name to educate and facilitate gold buying. In Karnataka,'My Kalyan' also sells affordable diamonds.

Kalyan Jewellers has significant presence in the state of Karnataka with stores in Hubli, Mangalore, Mysore, Belgaum apart from Dickinson Road, Bengaluru. Kalyan Jewellers is enhancing its presence in the NCR and planning a foray into new markets with Jalandhar & Amritsar in North India and Bhubaneswar in the East. Kalyan Jewellers is also ramping up its distribution network with an addition of 28 stores across India and other global markets including Middle East and the South East Asia.

Kalyan Jewellers recently attracted a significant investment of Rs. 1,200 crores from private equity investor Warburg Pincus. The investment will accelerate the growth plans of Kalyan Jewellers as it consolidates its leading position in existing markets and forays into global markets including Singapore and Malaysia. Kalyan is already present in the UAE with nine stores and plans to expand into Kuwait and Qatar.
