Kaya Clinic, after entering into hair care and other services, have relocated and revamped their retail outlets as per the new branding. In terms of retail design, the pre-dominant red colour has been replaced by a grey palette while the facades are much larger with bolder branding.

After their re-branding and entrance into beauty and hair care segments, beauty clinic chain Kaya Clinic has recently disclosed their plan to revamp and relocate their old outlets before expanding the outlet network. Kaya Clinic today has 100 outlets in India 25 in the Middle East.

In an exclusive chat with Retail4growth, Rajiv Nair, CEO, Kaya Clinic, shared, “Some of our clinics are as old as more than 12-13 years. We are currently looking at these outlets from scratch in terms of design and capacity. We realized that unless we expand capacity, we can’t reach our targeted footfall. In last one year, we have relocated and revamped 20 locations as per our new branding. In most of the relocated outlets, we have expanded space as well.”

In terms of design, Kaya is merging the retail and hospitality elements in their clinic formats. Facades have been made much bigger (up to 70 feet) with bolder branding, while the lounge areas are more plush along with introduction of audio-visual elements. Kaya’s pre-dominant branding colour of red has been replaced by grey elements towards a more premium positioning.

Soon to launch their body services, Kaya is growing at a CAGR of 8-10%.
