The latest multi-designer store located in the posh neighbourhood of Ballygunge will cater to the high end palates of the Kolkata clientele.

Keitaro, conceptualized and owned by 25 year old Kolkata-based fashion designer Anushree Agarwal opened its door at 37A, Garcha Road with the aim to make every client's shopping experience a memorable one. Inaugurated by another famous designer Kallol Datta, Keitaro made a mark in the style map of India's cultural capital. The 1500 sq. ft. area of the store has been aesthetically designed and stylishly furnished to suit the full ensemble, ranging from apparel to jewellery to bags and footwear which it showcases. Anushree Agarwal shares, "The brand store has been completed within two months time. In the near future we have plans to open up many more branches of Keitaro with varied collection and theme decor concentrating on funky style or having more ethnic beauty in this city and also in other metros suitable to the apparel we showcase.” The use of basic dark wood on one hand and the steel base with feminine floral motifs on the other, the background essentially compliments the collection displayed at the store. Kallol opines in this regard, "The store has got a classy look with monochromatic shades which is not overpowering the merchandise or the cohesive collection of different designers not only from Kolkata but from all over India and the Lakme Fashion Week.”

Keitaro houses an array of designs from contemporary to conventional which would appeal to the senses of women of diverse generations. They want to create a niche for themselves also by promoting local art and artisans as well as international artists. On display are a range of funky paintings and creative hand painted lamps by rural artists that help creating an awareness about their work.

The compact store with two trial rooms and in-house alteration facility provide speedy and efficient service to the clients. To engage the customers, a special loyalty programme, well managed by the store staff will ensure special discounts and benefits offered regularly to all their clients. The future plan of Keitaro include collaborations with the famous couturiers of India like Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra and such to organize trunk shows, previews and special events to bring their exclusive collections to Kolkata and beyond.
