LeEco to launch exclusive retail outlets in India by Q4 this fiscal

LeEco plans to launch 500-1000 EBOs across India by next year.

Chinese technology company LeEco, which is currently retailing only through the online channel and has its exclusive online selling platform Lemall.com, has expressed its aggressive plans to open exclusive brand outlets all over India by Q4 of this financial year. The brand already has brick-and-mortar retail presence through multibrand outlets.


Narrating on physical retail of electronics brands, Atul Jain, COO, Smart Devices, LeEco India, “There’s no denying that 80%-90% of mobile retail market is still offline while 65% of smartphone customers buy offline. We are already present in physical retail market through MBOs. We plan to ramp up the number by 4000 outlets in September this year and 6000 by October. As for EBOs, we have some aggressive plans to have 500-1000 exclusive outlets all over India by next year. We will start with cities like Delhi-NCR, Pune, Bangalore and Mumbai while in second phase, we want to spread our wings to cities like Ambala, Panipat and Vijaywada.”


Following its success in China selling 500,000 Le Superphones, LeEco also brought the EPIC 919 Shopping Festival in India, where offers were available for 24 hours starting midnight of September 19, 2016 on LeMall.com and Flipkart. Jain added, “We have always strived to offer unparalleled innovative offering to our customers and bringing in the EPIC 919 SuperFans Festival as a step in the same direction. We continue to create new benchmarks of customer satisfaction.  We hope this one of its kind shopping festival will enable our consumers to experience our Superphones, SuperTVs and accessories at never- before prices”.
