Customers can see products in our stores and get the products delivered at home, the company's MD said

Lifestyle International, owned by the Dubai-based Landmark group, will launch e-commerce websites for its three retail formats in this country. The formats are Lifestyle, Max, and Home Centre.

"We will launch the sites in the first half of the next year. We will start with Lifestyle, then extend it to others,” said Kabir Lumba, the managing director.

Shoppers Stop, a rival, already has an e-commerce site, and another, Pantaloons Fashion & Retail, is looking to launch one.

Lumba says the launch is irrespective of any competition.

"We feel young customers are digitally savvy. We want to be connected to them,” he said, adding all three formats were seeing double-digit annual growth.

The company, he said, had grown 25 per cent in 2014-15 to Rs 4,700 crore and aimed to do so at a similar pace in this financial year. It plans to open six to seven Lifestyle stores, three to four Home Centre stores and 25 Max stores in 2015-16.
"We are not only pure online player. Customers can see products in our stores and get the products delivered at home," he said.
