Manyavar-Mohey to reach a mark of 700 POS by 2021

Adding about 7 lakh sq ft to its existing 8 lakh sq ft of retail space, ethnic wear brand Manyavar (menswear) and Mohey (women’s wear) plans to scale up its retail footprint to 700 POS, which will include 150 more flagship stores.

With more than 450 POS,  including 12 international, 75 flagship stores of Mohey-Manyavar and 50+ Mohey stores  in more than 160 cities across the world, Indian ethnic wear major Manyavar (menswear) and Mohey (womenswear) plan to reach a mark 700 POS, including 150 flagship stores and 50 international stores in 300 cities. The brand plans to take its current 8 lakh sq ft of overall retail space to 15 lakh sq ft in another three years.

Talking to Retail4growth, Shilpi Modi, Director, Manyavar and Mohey, highlighted the brand’s growth path further, “With 85% Customer Conversion rate, less than 4% dead stock and INR1000 crore turnover, Manyavar is already a national benchmark in retail industry and is growing at 30% CAGR. The journey of retail operations began in 2008 and ever since then the company grew from 90 employees to 3000+ employees in just a span of 10 years. In 2016, we came up with the idea of Women Celebration wear and the emergence of Mohey happened, which apparently brought us a monumental achievement.”
