Michelle Adams to present her talk at In-Store Asia 2016

Michelle Adams, Founder of Marketing Brainology, will present her topic"œAgainst all odds - Trend busting Shopper Marketing Strategies"at the tenth edition of In-Store Asia 2016, to be held on August 4- 6, 2016 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Michelle Adams, Founder of Marketing Brainology, a consulting practice focused on translating consumer and shopper insights to marketing and corporate America, will present her topic "Against All Odds - Trend Busting Shopper Marketing Strategies” at the tenth edition of In-Store Asia 2016, to be held on August 4- 6, 2016 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Michelle Adams speaks globally on in-store decision-making, merchandising best practices, and shopper marketing & key shopper trends. She helps unlock the mystery of human emotion & how it impacts brands & retailers. Her latest venture is expanding her company to include video content marketing; and will be launching an online business channel; featuring great thought leaders from business & academia.

Working at PepsiCo & Frito-Lay for 10 years, as V.P. of Customer Strategy and Shopper Insights, she was responsible for the SMART Learning Center, a retail theater focused on state-of-the art consumer and shopper research; including four neuro labs. At Frito-Lay, she ran the analytics group; overseeing marketing mix modelling and all test markets. She was responsible for communicating the ROI of all marketing & in-store investments. In her PepsiCo tenure, she led insights initiatives leading to significant aisle re-invention & re-investment of traditional marketing dollars into in-store displays.  

Michelle is an industry thought-leader, and has served on the POPAI Board for over 6 years; serving as Co-Chair of the Research Advisory Committee; and as the 2015 Board Chair. In her term, she successfully merged POPAI with the Association of Retail Environments (A.R.E.).  In 2012, she received the Industry Achievement Award from POPAI. She received her Ph.D. in Political Economy from University of Texas at Dallas in 1995.  She was awarded 2014 Distinguished Alumni & Keynote speaker at the 2014 Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony.  She was an adjunct professor for the University of Texas at Dallas and SMU for 15 years.

In May 2015, she completed a TEDx talk on'Applying NeuroMarketing to Increase your Appeal and Desirability” at TEDxSMUWOMAN.
