Moschino enters India with its first store in Mumbai

Moschino brings its Love Moschino format at their first store in India, located in Mumbai’s Palladium Mall spread across 1080 sq ft. The store uses a mix of Indian and international vendors to execute the store. Moschino’s second store is slated to open in Gurgaon’s Ambience Mall spread across 1700 sq ft early next year.

Italian luxury brand for apparels and accessories, Moschino, has opened their first store in India in partnership with Bangalore-based brand house, Samar Lifestyle Pvt Ltd. Located at Mumbai’s upscale Palladium Mall across 1080 sq ft, Moschino opens its smallest format, Love Moschino. Donning a signature young and vibrant look of the brand, the store offsets its colourful merchandises against black colour, while the brand’s heart-shaped logo is strategically placed in various elements across the store. VM and signages of the store have been imported while fixtures and other elements have been supplied by Indian vendors.

Present at the launch preview, Mouli Venkataraman, COO, Samar Lifestyle – Love Moschino said, “We are proud to present Love Moschino at its first ever exclusive store in India. Strategically placed at Palladium Mumbai, it represents the best of fashion from the international market. This Italian luxury label has already set major fashion standards globally and is now all set to woo & garner the same loyalty in India. We are ready for our Indian discerning customers 1st June onwards.”

Moschino has three store formats globally – Moschino Couture, Cheap & Chic and Love Moschino. Coining the third format, Moschino’s first store in India will retail mostly accessories. Moschino will open their second store in the country early next year at Ambience Mall Gurgaon, spread across 1700 sq ft. and will house merchandises other than accessories.
