M&S opens its 59th store in India

M&S opens its 4th outlet in Pune and 59th in the country.

The British fashion retailer chain Marks & Spencer (M&S) has recently launched the city’s 4th flagship outlet at Westend Mall in Aundh spanning across 8,000 square foot. It is the retailer’s 59th store in India and the first in the North West of Pune. Mohit Bhayana, Head of Retail, Marks & Spencer Reliance India, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming customers to our new store in Pune. Customers are at the heart of everything we do at Marks & Spencer, and now with four stores in the city and our online presence with leading marketplaces, we can offer our customers in Pune even greater convenience and choice.”

Since 2008, when M&S signed its joint venture partnership with Reliance Retail, M&S has grown its presence across India and now has 59 stores across 27 cities, along with an online presence through leading online platforms
