Myntra to set up 30 experience centres

Myntra has already set up five such experience centres and now aims to open 30 such centres in next few months across various metro cities to enhance customer experience.

myntraWalmart-owned online fashion retailer Myntra is reportedly setting up 30 experience centre across major cities where customers can receive orders and try items as part of its efforts to enhance customer experience.

According to PTI, started as a pilot a few months ago in Bengaluru tech-park, Myntra has now set up five such experience centre in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Hyderabad ahead of its End of Reason sale (EORS) later this month.

"We started the pilot a few months ago with an experience centre in a Bengaluru tech-park where we receive a large number of orders. At these centres, we will offer value added services like order pickup, instant returns, trial room and alterations of products," Myntra Jabong Head Amar Nagaram was quoted saying in a PTI report.

He further added, this not only results in better customer experience but also brings down cost of returns as customer can receive faster replacements.

Nagaram said Myntra aims to open 30 such centres in next few months across various metro cities.

The company has also focused on strengthening the kirana partners network for last-mile delivery of packages.

“We expect over 8 million products to be ordered for EORS 10 with the platform geared to handle 12,000 orders per minute at peak… we have expanded our kirana network to over 12,500 stores to manage 70 percent of the deliveries for EORS 10,” Nagaram said in a report.
