Ola appoints Rajeev Bakshi as board advisor for food business

Ride-hailing platform Ola has appointed Rajeev Bakshi as a board advisor for its food business, Ola Foods.

Prior to joining Ola, Bakshi was the managing director of METRO Cash & Carry India and was previously associated with companies like PepsiCo and Cadbury.

Bakshi said that Ola has the opportunity to build highly loved food brands in a market that is hitherto underserved. “With access to hundreds of millions of consumers who use Ola as an everyday platform, the brands will also have a unique advantage in terms of reach and influence," he added.
