Online-offline artificial jewellery and accessories retailer'Youshine' is planning to expand in Northern region

Artificial jewellery and accessories retailer Youshine is planning to expand in northern region, including Chandigarh, Mohali, Jalandhar in Punjab. Overall, the brand is targeting to have 25 stores pan-India by December 2015, which would be a mix of Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III cities from 15 at present.

"We will open a store at North Country Mall at Mohali in Punjab by this month followed by Chandigarh. We also have plans to open stores at Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Amritsar at later stage." said Ashish Sood, co-founder and chief executive officer, Youshine.

Promoted by the parent company, MM Retail Private Ltd, Youshine began its journey with a single kiosk in Gurgaon in 2012. Today it owns and operates over 15 stores across leading shopping malls in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune and Surat, among other cities.

Sood said it is looking to raise fresh funds of around $2 million. The funds will be used to revamp the company's e-commerce business and expand its brick-and-mortar stores.

He said, "The brand will have 25 stores in the country by December and envisions having 100 exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) in three years."
