Pantaloons opens its first exclusive kids store

As the first ever brand extension of Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Pvt Ltd, opened its first kids-only exclusive store format, Pantaloons Kids store in Ahmedabad. The  2100 sq ft. store is double bifurcated and is divided in to Boy's wear and Girl's wear as well as infants, toddlers and juniors. Nagesh, VP - Design and VM, Pantaloons, narrated further, "Pantaloons Kids"  is targeted to provide a unique and liberating shopping experience for the gen-next kids of our country as well as one-stop destination shopping convenience for kids fashion of all age groups, for parents.”

On chosing Ahmedabad as their first destination in the retail bifurcation, Nagesh further added, "Ahmedabad is well developed metropolis and brand Pantaloons is further expanding with more stores. It's a welcome change to launch a new format from Non-Metro cities and focus on cities which are substantial contributors of growth. Well, the other reason is, for Kids exclusive store launch the opportunity is beyond location. As Kids market has become one of the fastest growing apparel retail segments.” The second quarter of this year is going to witness more Pantaloons Kids stores in places like Jabalpur, Kolkata and NCR.
