Peppermint targets 50 EBOs in next 3 years

Having recently started their EBOs in Chennai and Pune, Peppermint targets 50 EBOs in next 3 years. Focusing on Southern and Western India, the brand aims to take their SIS count from 250 to 500 across the country in the same time frame.

Kids apparel brand Peppermint, who recently launched their exclusive stores in Pune and Chennai, has disclosed their plan to open 8 more stores this year, eventually taking the store count to 50 in next 3 years. The brand, also available through 250 LFSs, will take their SIS presence to 500 in the same time span.

Talking exclusively to Retail4Growth, Satosh Katariya, Managing Director, Peppermint, shared, “We have recently opened our EBO concept as we realised that this format will strengthen our positioning, which is focused specially on girls’ fashion. EBOs also offers us better display opportunity, especially when we are getting into segments like footwear and accessories soon. As for EBO expansion, our immediate target is to cover southern and western part of the country, especially in metros and tier-I cities. We also plan to take our SIS presence from 250 to 500 in next 3 years.”

Peppermint was founded in 2007 and is enjoying a Y-O-Y growth of 15-20%.
