At day one of In-Store Asia, Sagar Daryani, Co-Founder & CEO Wow! Momo Foods presented his topic “Creative Disruption - How to differentiate in a crowd”. Today Wow! Momo is perhaps the largest chain of momos both in terms of volumes and turnovers with around 160 outlets across 10 cities.

At In-Store Asia 2018, the audience witnessed another captivating session which has been presented by Sagar Daryani, Co-Founder & CEO Wow! Momo Foods. His topic “Creative Disruption - How to differentiate in a crowd” highlighted how Sagar and his team has spearheaded the journey from small kiosks in Kolkata to the Country’s one of the largest Indian Origin Quick Service Restaurant Chain. Today Wow! Momo is perhaps the largest chain of Momos both in terms of volumes and turnovers with around 160 outlets across 10 cities.

Sagar shares, “We started our journey with only around thirty thousand rupees and came up with our first Shop-in-Shop in Spencer’s Retail at Kolkata. We believed in our product and each time our product innovation has been our differentiator for Wow! Momo. Reinvention ourselves with various delicious menu options has been a major trend setter in this segment as we have been able to convert a snack into a meal.”

Wow! Momo has various store formats starting from kiosks, S-I-S, Flagship restaurants and as well as they have rolled out Wow! Momo on Wheels which is also the next innovation for the brand.
