Samsung to develop its e-board range in display business

The leading company in smart signages plans to bring innovative interactivity through digital signages.

Samsung’s Visual Display business, producing digital signages and various other digital interfaces for retail, has revealed its plan to develop its interactive display system range, E-board category rapidly. Samsung offers various display solutions suitable for retail environment like single panels, video walls, mirror display, stretch display etc and enjoys more than 50% market share in digital signages in the country.

Talking to Retail4growth, Puneet Sethi, Vice President, CE – B2B Business, Samsung Electronics, explained, “The scope of digital signages in both retail and media is enormous in India specially when static signages are moving to digital ones really fast. What we have also observed are the facts that the digital signage market is moving to larger sizes and towards more seamless varieties. The innovations are limitless. This prompted us to bring new categories like stretch displays which can be split on multiple screens as per the need- Further to that, we are going to refresh our e-board line up, which is basically an interactive interface range, in early next year. We plan to bring more products under the category and some of them will be first in the industry.”
