Skechers opens its 90th store in India

American performance and lifestyle footwear brand Skechers has recently opened its 90th store at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon. The store, which is company-owned and company-operated, wears a design that is inspired by a warehouse theme. Kingsmen is one of the major vendors executing the store, the brand informed.

The store, spread across 1500 sq ft, uses finishes that are rustic and exposed thus enhancing the sporty zeal of the brand. It features metal fixtures, brick columns etc. representing concept which is vintage, modern, rich and high powered in nature. It’ll retail its wide range of footwear amongst its two-robust category- performance and lifestyle.

Present at the launch were Marvin Bernstein, Managing Partner, SKECHERS SÀRL and Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu. Rahul Vira, CEO, Skechers South Asia, told, “At Skechers, we are constantly striving to innovate, be it through product design or technology. We are passionate about sports and we offer great choices in high-performance shoes ideal for various intensive and light fitness activities. Our latest collection GoTrain, made for high endurance during work outs is already in stores. For style conscious consumer, we have enough and more options that are trendy and fashion forward.”
