Titan Eyeplus opens its 100th Store in the East region

Titan Eyeplus, one of India's leading eyewear retail chain, recently launched their 100th store in East India. Aptly located in Dumdum area near Kolkata, the store will cater to the Sec A and B populace of the locale.  The launch marked a significant expansion mode for the brand in the eastern region.
 
The new store from Titan Eyeplus has an enhanced retail experience, with a meticulously planned store layout, having novel spectacle frame and sunglass display, and a dedicated zone for premium brands.
 
Ronnie Talati, Chief Executive Officer, Eyewear Division, Titan Company Limited, said, "It gives us great pleasure to inaugurate the Dumdum store, which marks the 100th store in the eastern region for the brand. Titan Eyeplus has come a long way since opening its first store in the East, providing its customers with quality products and world-class eyecare services. The East region has been a key market for us and we are happy to also announce that we have recently set up a state-of-the-art lens manufacturing unit in Madhyamgram to meet the growing needs of the region.”
 
On the retail expansion of the brand Talati adds, "We will continue to expand our retail footprints through franchisee model which Titan as a company has been following for mostly all our major business lines. Off the 390+ stores of Titan Eyeplus, four stores are exclusively company owned and the rest are all franchisees. It has always been our endeavour to serve the underpenetrated markets of all the zones and thus we will be rapidly expanding the Tier II, III and IV regions and towns which has a great potential and need for quality products. In eastern zone particularly we are looking at North East, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha and very recently we have also opened a combination store of all our products in Sikkim as well.”

The new store is a MBO which showcases a wide range of spectacles, sunglasses and facility to get customized prescription lenses made for sunglasses. It is also home to one of the largest ranges of international brands in the city.
