By Satarupa Chakraborty | November 28, 2017

The American casual wear brand is currently opening more stores in smaller towns in eastern and northern India. The brand is also working on store design changes to effectively utilize vacant in-store spaces.

American casual wear brand US Polo Assn is focusing on opening stores in tier I and tier II cities in India currently by adding 7-10 stores each month, while most of the store openings are taking place in eastern and northern parts of the country. The brand has recently opened stores in cities like Coimbatore, Guwahati and Pune. Hosted by Arvind Brands in India, the brand is also working on certain store design changes that will be rolled out in their existing stores by Spring-summer 2018. The design change will be aimed at filling the negative/vacant spaces inside the stores more meaningfully. Currently, the vacant spaces are filled with some generic visuals which will be replaced with elements that will bring more value for the customers. The brand is also planning to bring some refreshing changes in terms of their merchandise browsing experience, in-store fixtures and VM. The brand has also revealed its plan to add digital screens at top 25 stores next year as trial before installing them in other existing stores.

Currently, Fixtures at all US Polo stores are supplied by Bangalore-based Krishna Interiors and signages by the city-based Creative Sourcz.
