VM&RD Retail Design Award 2018 entries cross an all-time high

With 370 entries, the 10th edition of VM&RD Retail Design Awards records an all-time high since its inception in 2007. The popular categories which received largest number of entries include Window Display - Products & Collections, In-Store Visual Merchandising, VM Installations, Lighting and Shop Fitting.
Bringing its 10th edition, VM&RD Retail Design Award 2018, the most prestigious event for the retail design community in the Indian Retail industry received the great response with 370 entries, which is the highest since its inception in 2007. The popular categories which received largest number of entries include Window Display - Products & Collections, In-Store Visual Merchandising, VM Installations, Lighting and Shop Fitting.
The awards will be hosted on 23rd February 2018, at BEC Goregaon, Mumbai, where Top Retail Design, Visual Merchandising and Manufacturing talent from India compete in 12 Store Design Categories and 10 Special Categories.
The contest culminates at In-Store Asia 2018, the largest retail experience show in the Indian Sub-continent for Retail resources and investments in Experience Design and Shopper Marketing. The award ceremony is attended by a majority of business leaders and the retail design community from brands, retailers and retail solution providers. The entries are judged by a Jury Panel comprising of some of very reputed names both nationally and globally in the retail industry, using a specially designed digital platform that handles hi-res images and videos. The system enables a scoring system that ensures consistency and correctness in the judging process.
