Vodafone launches Global Design Store in Meerut

Vibrant design with customer friendly atmosphere, and trained customer service team are some of the basis of Vodafone's global design stores.

Vodafone India recently launched its Global Design Store in Meerut in the presence of  Sandeep Kataria, Director – Commercial, Vodafone India and Dilip Kumar Ganta, Business Head – UP West Circle, Vodafone India. Located at S2S Square, Garh Road, the new Vodafone Store is in line with Vodafone’s ‘Retail of Tomorrow’ initiative to deliver quality retail experience to its customers.


Speaking on this retail initiative, Dilip Kumar Ganta, Business Head – UP West Circle, Vodafone India said, “Keeping in mind the trend of increasing smart phone penetration and rapidly changing mobile data usage trends, we have taken an innovative approach in retail design. The Global Design Store with a team of data experts will engage with our customers to provide a one-stop shop experience platform.”


The new Vodafone Global Design Store retail concept is designed and equipped to be warm and customer friendly, to meet the evolving needs and expectations of the customers. The store offers live and engaging retail experience of Vodafone’s wide range of products and services. This store has been specifically adapted and customized after testing and validating a full suite of customer insights, which are relevant to customer needs in India.


Commenting on the inauguration of the new Vodafone store, Sandeep Kataria, Director – Commercial, Vodafone India, said: “I’m delighted to be present for the launch of our Global design store in Meerut. Meerut is an important data market for us. We invite our customers in the city to experience our new store and make the most of the bonanza of special benefits being offered currently by Vodafone”.


An array of services will be offered in the store such as 4G Experience Zones to discover and experience superfast video download/uploads on the SuperNet 4G network; Vodafone Red Zone; a first of its kind all-in one post-paid service; M-Pesa Zone; a unique mobile money transfer service; Self Service Kiosk; a 24×7 facility for bill payment and recharge service; Vodafone Red Box; to enable customers to transfer content from an existing handset to a new age smart phone for free.
