Wacoal opens its first Indian outlet in Mumbai

Japan headquartered luxury lingerie brand, Wacoal makes its debut in India by opening its first store in Mumbai. The store has the complete collection at High Street Phoenix Mall Mumbai. Having cemented a leading position in South-East Asia's high-end lingerie market, Wacoal as a group last year decided to actively extend its brand overseas using India's formidable and international position.
 
Spread over 691 square feet of space, the outlet will operate in a lifestyle store format. The store in Mumbai showcases a unique concept designed by a team of architects and designers from Wacoal. Marking a next step in the evolution of Wacoal's store concept, the Mumbai outlet showcases a sophisticated, luxurious environment to present the collection. The interiors are in stark contrast to the fine fabrics of the products and helps to highlight the merchandise. Moreover, the lighting is integrated in the concept, and supports the presentation of Wacoal products as a piece of art.
