The range, with compact system offers easy operation and sustainable cooling.

To keep up with changing commercial landscape where the buildings are increasingly air tight and filled with heat generating office equipment and lighting, Mitsubishi Electric India has launched a new range of Variable Refrigerent Flow (VRF) air conditioning systems. The range will be viable for any commercial buildings including retail and malls.

This City Multi VRF allows 4.5 to 60 HP delivered capacity per system with over 80 indoor units of varying capacity including AHU, floor standing, ducted, ceiling cassettes, ceiling suspended and wall mounted, to which up to 50 indoor units can be connected to one system. It has selectable system evaporating temperature which induces the benefit of energy saving. It also has choice of two defrost methods offering flexibility in design and providing continuous heat to indoor units during the defrost cycle. The design of the system is compact and in-built for operation and smart control.

Yozo Ito, Director & Business Head- Air Conditioners, Mitsubishi Electric India Private Limited, told Retail4growth, “By using our indigenously developed unique Branch Controller (BC), the City Multi heat recovery system requires two refrigerant pipes throughout the entire VRF system to deliver simultaneous heating and cooling with heat recovery. World’s only two-pipe technology, City Multi VRF is durable, reliable, energy, efficient, and provides superior levels of control accuracy.
