Skylit

When Ideation studio joined hands with Philips a new concept was born. Inspiring one to imagine beyond boundaries, there is now a great demand for skylight ceilings. On the request of Philips, Ideation studio developed it for Indian markets. In India it first was installed at an Army Hospital in Jalandhar and then for Fortis Hospital in Vasant Kunj. 

This was installed in the radiation centre where cancer patients are diagnosed. Ideation studio used single backlit box for their earlier projects to create the skylight effect. While for the Fortis, Gurgaon single tiles were developed. Skylight ceiling is manufactured by Ideation studio team in Delhi using normal acrylic. The acrylic boxes are made according to size of the area where it is being installed. Backlighting the boxes using LED's gives the skylight effect.
