Byg Brewski Brewing Company recently launched of its sprawling property – Asia’s ‘Byggest’ brewpub - on Hennur Road. Set in the backdrop of the mighty Nordic past, the venue boasts 65,000 sq ft of the finest entertainment, reminiscent of the majesty that is the Vikings. Housed over an area of little less than two acres, the venue offers five separate bars and dining areas. Each bar area is defined by bespoke ambience to ensure Byg Brewski patrons enjoy every mood and occasions. Byg Brewski is all about ensuring that patrons have a good time, and hence entertainment remains at the heart of all endeavours. The amphitheatre is setting stage to bring international performing arts to Bengaluru. From world-class performances to fresh talent in the city, Byg Brewski curates the most engaging acts and artists to take the experience of the place to the next level.

Bringing to life, the bygone era, will be Chef Sabyasachi Gorai, who will be dishing out more than 200 recipes through live kitchens from cultures across the globe one of the biggest kitchens ever commissioned. Byg Brewski also boasts of a 6,500 sq ft state-of-the-art kitchen with best fire power. Being an open kitchen, standards of hygiene remain unquestionable. It also accommodates one of the largest wood fire pizza ovens. And, owing to demands of scale and quality, Byg Brewski makes its own bread at its in-house patisserie.

Although driven by the rustic theme, given that the inspiration for Byg Brewski comes from the valour of the Vikings, the venue maintains a bespoke look. Speaking about the design, Byg Brewski Managing Director Ajay Gowda said, “We didn’t want to take the overdone rustic route, so we wanted the feel of a ruin, around which the space is reclaimed and created, which we believe can be timeless.” “We wanted the space to be large enough so there is a congregation of a large number of people, who then could sprawl and move around for varied experiences along their route, pretty much like a town square feel,” he added.

Byg Brewski has been designed by Mathew & Ghosh Architects. Speaking about the soul of the space, Soumitro Ghosh, expressed, “The place completely underplays itself as a ‘have been around’ kind of ambience that is unpretentious and easy to be with, over and over... Byg Brewski is designed as an oasis in the non-descript urban sprawl, a place where memories of happy moments shall have image.”
