COTTON USA ties up with Shoppers Stop for in-store promotion

The partnership will assists COTTON USA in driving market penetration and increase consumer awareness about the label in the domestic market.

COTTON USA, the trademark brand of Cotton Council International (CCI), recently went for its first retail partnership with Shoppers Stop. COTTON USA and Shoppers Stop will conduct a month long in-store promotion aimed at increasing consumer awareness of U.S. cotton-rich apparel, and gradually move toward creating an exclusive line of labelled merchandise. The promotion will take place in five stores across Delhi/NCR (Rajouri and Noida), Mumbai (Malad and Vashi) and Bangalore (Malleshwaram).

"This is an exciting time for COTTON USA, as we are looking at its expansion in the retail space in India,” said Renu Aggarwal, India Representative for CCI. Shoppers Stop is among the first of many brands that COTTON USA has partnered with for joint consumer promotion activities in India targeting both the youth as well as the older age group.
