Kreo came up with a horse-shoe shaped installation that displays 250 pairs of Crocs and having a seamless open-shut mechanism

What would one expect from a shop-in-shop where the signage reads Crocs? A fun display that is synonymous to the brand image. Innovation and distinct design features which are quite generic to Crocs come to the fore through this shop-in-shop

A Crocs experience was to be relayed through an 8'x8' shop-in-shop at a mall. The brief was to stock 250 pairs of Crocs and since it is located in the middle of a mall, shutting shop at the end of the day was a must. A brainstorm session of sketches followed and Kreo Design and Innovation came up with a horse-shoe form installation worked out to the detail to display 250 pairs of Crocs and having a seamless open-shut mechanism.

"We also had to consider the fact that it needed to be positioned inside the mall and the shapes and structures developed were to utilise the maximum amount of space available and attract maximum footfalls. The particular visual highlight of the installation is its round horse shoe shape which has been inspired from the entire essence of the brand'Crocs',” says Darshita Thaker, Founder and Design Director, Kreo.

Its system of simply unlocking and spreading the two lobes of the unit works great to the convenience of the keeper. It is a one man job to open-shut the unit for business. The convenience factor, attractive points of the physical design and the entire concept as a marketing tool reaches out to the customers as a creative package.

With neck-to-neck competition in retail today, new ideas and innovations take a front seat. Features of vibrancy, creative appeal, functionality, convenience all come together to render an experience one would remember. The unit when open during business hours draws customers owing to its unique design capacities and when closed post business hours, stands as an element of promotion for the brand.
