Pepe Jeans – Crafty fun for kids

Executed at two kids-only stores, Pepe Jeans brings the playhouse concept with tents and animal figures made with denim and craft items. These craft ideas can be incorporated in pairs of denims to create a custom-made merchandise.
Pepe Jeans has recently executed special window surrounding art and craft for kids at two stores: Quest Mall, Kolkata and Alpha One Mall, Ahmedabad. Amongst 10 odd kids-only stores, Pepe Jeans chose these two stores which have bigger and more visible façade.
On the idea and execution, Tejaswini Nigam, Head – Visual Merchandising, Pepe Jeans India, explained to Retail4Growth, “We brought the idea of kids’ fun around crafty ideas, keeping the school vacation in mind. Amongst these craft ideas, denim plays an important role as this brings the ethos of the brand. We have created small tents made out of denim and the same silhouette has been used to create figurines of cats and dogs. Props like scissors, gluesticks and sketch pens have been strewn around inside the playhouse sort of setting. Interestingly, we are also offering our kids customers to achieve their craft ideas in their pairs of jeans. After all, custom-made denim is our merchandise forte.”
