Spencer's attracts women on wednesdays

These in-store shopper marketing programmes are helping the brand to cater in a much better way to its focussed target group.

Spencer's Retail recently unveiled its shopper marketing programme WOW - Women on Wednesdays to attract their TG, especially home makers.  According to the brand, the activity celebrates the spirit of womanhood every Wednesday by offering free services on issue pertaining to women. These include health check - up for women in all Spencer's Hypers in Kolkata and consultation services like make-up, hair, dietician, dentist, dermatologist and tea tasting among others in the weeks to come. 

Adding to this, Spencer's Retail has also introduced'Happy Hours' on every wednesday from 11 am - 6pm, which offers an additional discount of upto 5% off on more than1000 products. This was communicated in all their outlets through in-store promotional displays like directional signage, wall displays, end caps and WOW zone. 

"WOW stands for'Women on Wednesdays'. We wanted to make our women shoppers feel special and privileged as they are primarily the decision makers for the family's health and shopping needs. Hence,'WOW zones are created in every Spencer's Hyper that offers free consultation from experts in various fields and cater to the needs and queries that women usually have,” Spencer's spokesperson said.

A lucky draw will also be held as a part of WOW and 50 lucky women get a chance to win free gifts and one bumper prize (a gift card worth Rs 6000/-) every Wednesday.
