By Satarupa Chakraborty | November 27, 2017

Usha Group unveiled a new store design which is aimed at highlighting designated spaces for all products. The company plans to upgrade all its existing 53 stores while opening 10 new stores by next fiscal.

Consumer appliances company Usha Group has recently revamped their in-store brand experiences highlighting the appliances categories and revamped store design. Upgrading their Kirti Nagar, Delhi and Jaipur outlets recently with Delhi-based retail design firm Glue Design, the company plans to upgrade all their 53 existing EBOs. The company has also revelaed plans to open 10 new stores in different locations across Haryana and Punjab including cities and rural areas. The average sizes of the upcoming stores will be between 500 sq ft and 2100 sq ft.

Talking to Retail4growth, a source from Usha Group, explained, "We boast a wide range of home comfort and other appliances. The reason we took upon the design upgradation is that we want people to know about our products offerings beyond the most popular sewing machines and ceiling fans.

The new store design is aimed to demarcate the categories under our portfolio and highlight designated space to each category. We have always been present through 53 EBOs but decided to bring these changes after a long gap of 10 years or so. We plan to upgrade all our stores eventually while the new
stores will follow the same design principles."

Usha also has its own brands of lighting products, Tisva, which are present through both EBO and MBO formats.
