VM&RD Retail Design Awards 2018 : Anita Dongre Flagship Store

Designer Anita Dongre’s strong personal connect with Jaipur was immaculately personified through the flagship store (spread across 10,000 sq ft) that 4.4 Design created at the Qutub in Delhi.

Everything in the design strives to achieve an ambience – not of opulence but of quiet elegance. The materiality follows in the same vain shunning any ostentation through various craft forms, polished black lime stone floors with white Udaipur marble inlay, walls in Indian custom made block printed fabrics, sandstone jallis, the quintessentially Rajasthani thikri work, the famous blue pottery craft of Jaipur and a substantial number of wall painting are extensively used throughout the Haveli.
